Specifications

Wood

Profile in coplanar wood inside for the leaf and frame with a thickness of 80 mm.  Processing of the wood carried out with extremely fine final buffing which returns the naturalness of the material at both the visual and olfactory levels.  The design highlights the purity of the lines, with extremely reduced sections making the window aesthetically pleasing and concise.  The laminate wood that is used is PEFC certified and originates from forests with certified sustainable management.  Layers of elements with a length greater than 2,500 mm are joined with finger joints.  The minimum length between the joints is equal to 800 mm.

Aluminum

(For the frame only) Profile in aluminum alloy EN AW-6060 (Al MgSi) with thickness of 1.5 mm oxidizable or paintable with powder coat within the RAL range.  The coplanar profile is attached externally with floating technology to the wooden structure along its entire length, for the purpose of guaranteeing the degrees of freedom throughout the temperature ranges.

Thermal Performance

Thermal transmittance equal to 0.85 W/(m²K) according to the UNI EN ISO 10077-1 standard with low emissivity glass from 52 mm.

Structure

Supporting structure in laminate wood, with aspects in spruce, larch, or oak, and structural multiple glazing in a staggered section.  The exterior side of the leaf is formed by the single plane surface of the glass.  The sole frame is covered externally by a profile of extruded aluminum.

Fittings

Siegenia Titan AF fittings in the turn and tilt or sliding versions, completely hidden.  Elements in tropicalized steel with hinges and latches that are adjustable in three directions.  Basic anti-break-in series configuration, with antidrill handles and opening prevention from the outside.

Seals

Three seals in TPE expanded thermoplastic material, resistant against atmospheric agents with a sealing function against water, air, and noise.

Painting

Integral Essepi painting, with robotized three-coat treatment applied on its entire surface – including the surface facing the joints – before assembly.  This technology gives the product a double lifespan with respect to systems with traditional painting.  All of the profiles are treated with antiworm and antimould paint, brushed, and painted with transparent or covering hydrosoluble acrylic products that are resistant to UV light.  With certain woods such as larch, it is possible to not use chemical paints so as to appreciate the aromatic essence of the wood and the surface to the touch.

Glass

The glass is the principal element of this window, in particular in the exterior side, where the pane with a thickness of 6 mm is lacquered on the back on the perimeter, tempered, and in fact forms the complete exterior surface of the pane.  This pane is then paired with one or two interior panes that go on to form the multiple glazing with a thickness of 28 or 36 mm with double glazing or else 52 mm with triple glazing.  The interior panes may be normal or stratified with thicknesses from 4 to 10 mm with functions of security, anti-break-in, or acoustical insulation.  Groove with Super Spacer or low conductivity TGI, in various colors.  Airspace filled with inert argon gas.  The composition of the multiple glazing as a function of the type of panes supplied will have the thermal, acoustical, safety, solar factor, and luminosity performance as desired.
