Window production
Phase 1
Selection
The extreme attention paid to the choice of wood is one of our points of distinction. For standard production we only use laminated wood of striped red fir carefully selected by the same suppliers in order to guarantee the maximum quality and stability of the products. We are also able to produce all our models in other types of wood, such as larch and oak, to satisfy different architectural choices.
Phase 2
Processing
The wooden elements are initially planed and sanded before being placed in the automated warehouse for raw parts. They then enter a highly mechanised work centre, capable of producing semi-finished products complete with all processing steps: butting, profiling, and drilling. The finished piece is then inspected and labeled, ready to continue its journey to the painting phase.
Phase 3
Full painting
Here, a specially designed robot applies the impregnating agent, the intermediate and the finishing on each side. Between each coat, all the pieces are sanded to obtain a better result to the touch.
Phase 4
Assembly,
silicone and hardware
The painted piece continues towards the gasket application machine, and then proceeds to the door assembly center (Essepi patent of 2007), where the two uprights and two crosspieces of the door are positioned—with structural double-sided tape already applied—along with the double glazing and any optional aluminum frame. The work center brings the components together and joins them: this is our well-known mechanical fastening.
At this point the silicone applicator (Essepi patent from 1992) comes into operation, automatically applying the silicone to the entire external edge of the door.
We then continue on the line to the hardware store counter
Phase 5
Testing
Production ends on our specially designed testing platform to subject each window to careful functional and aesthetic quality control.
Phase 6
Packaging and shipping
At this point the windows
They are ready for packing and shipping.
